Album art is rendered in vibrant detail for music lovers. Pros: This is a nice little unit. The display is sharp even for a tiny unit. The controls and menu is easy to understand. The radio station set-up is a bit confusing to get set up to but adequate.
You really don't need a lot of time on how use this MP3 player which is great. It took me all of 15 minutes to figure it out. Also the clip-on was a great idea. Cons: The battery display is poorly done.
It is hard to read and the colors should have been more brighter to stand out. It almost looks camouflaged.
You really have to look at it closely to see if it needs to be recharged. And when recharging, the unit will not tell you that it is full. You have to disconnect it from the computer and then check it. Other Thoughts: Other than the con part, it is actually a good little unit for the price. Pros: It uses an SD card. Sometimes it plays music.
Cons: I purchased this in December 2012 because it seemed like the best MP3 player I could get that allowed a huge SD card. The product had many issues and I eventually returned my first one and the second one died the second day. The product mostly worked. I used it for running. Sometimes it would freeze midsong. I could push play/pause and see the play/pause change but no music would play. Eventually I learned I could resolve this issue by turning the Sansa Clip off, then on, and I could resume whatever music I had mid-song and actually hear it.
This was very annoying. Sometimes it would freeze entirely.
I was forced to wait until the battery died, then I could recharge and boot. Eventually the SD card reader died entirely. I returned it. The return process was simple. Customer service was helpful.

I received my new Sansa Zip Clip promptly. It died the second day. I went running. It stopped working mid-run. It has been plugged into a charger since.
I have tried to reboot by holding the power button down for several minutes. There have been no changes. I will be asking for a refund. Cons: I've tried using wall plug chargers, even with the USB cable that came with the Sanza Clip with no luck. The thing only seems to charge when it is plugged into a USB port on my computer. Earphones not the best but okay. Other Thoughts: I use the Sanza Clip for listening to music and for that it works great and has all the features I want. It's very easy to download mp3 and wma files from my computers. I've adjusted the equalizer to my own sound preference. I bought a set of Philips ear canal ear buds that I am extremely happy with.
They do a great job of cutting out background noise and have very good sound reproduction.
